A Heritage That Changed Whisky Forever
In the mid-19th century, Andrew Usher perfected the art of blending malt and grain whiskies, making Scotch smoother, more consistent, and more accessible to the world. His innovation, Usher’s Old Vatted Glenlivet, became a landmark in whisky history, opening the doors for Scotland’s global whisky trade.

About
Andrew Usher Jnr, the son of brewer Andrew Usher, wasn’t only a whisky pioneer – he was a visionary, a philanthropist, and a man devoted to creating experiences that would last generations. From helping build the North British Distillery to gifting Edinburgh its iconic Usher Hall, his impact is still felt today.

Now, over 150 years later, husband and wife team Allen & Lynette Usher honour that spirit of innovation. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, they bring together premium Scotch whisky and carefully selected South African aged whisky, creating a blend that is both refined and distinctive. It’s a modern expression of a timeless craft – rooted in history, inspired by innovation.
